HOW IT WORKS
Connect. Leave. Read.
No software is needed to capture. You only need a computer to change settings or read the logs.
Connect
Set the interface and voltage level with the switches. Wire RX and ground, then power it.
Leave it running
Power it from USB-C or 9–30 V DC. Both channels are recorded against the same clock.
Read the logs
Plug in USB-C and open the files. Find the reset or the error, and what came before it.

We are embedded engineers based in Switzerland, with more than 15 years of experience developing embedded software and hardware.
A lot of that time went into tracking down faults that only show up in the field: at a customer site, in a machine, never on the bench. The usual workaround is a laptop left behind with a serial terminal open. It works until the laptop goes to sleep, the USB adapter drops out, or someone needs the laptop back.
The SFL-2 is the tool we wanted in those situations: small, robust, and simple enough to install and forget until you need the data.
